Twenty2 Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover) in Newark NG24 - potential for a permanent contract.
This role will primarily support the finance department with raising purchase orders, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hours
Salary: Circa £30k DOE
Duties:
* Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the purchase ledger.
* Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
* Liaise with suppliers to address queries regarding payments and invoices.
* Support the finance team as required.
Skills:
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
* Experience in accounts payable processes and procedures.
* Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Familiarity with human resources functions is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers and internal departments.
