We are looking for a Senior Project Surveyor to join our Building team in Cambridge, working on a £200m commercial project.
What you'll do:
* Ensure that the financial position of a construction project is reported accurately and controlled effectively and is maintained throughout.
* Control the cost management for project and provide financial reporting regularly.
* Understand the contractual requirements of project documents including the roles and responsibilities of all involved and the notices required to record change etc. Ensure all required notices are issued in a timely manner.
* Understand the forecast cost to completion, establish and use cost management systems.
* Assist in risk and opportunity management (with operations team) of known and newly identified risks and opportunities for best project return.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Experience of working on medium to large Build projects £80million+ and relevant experience of running significant multiple subcontract packages £5-20m.
* Working knowledge of one or more forms of construction contracts i.e. JCT, NEC, Bespoke.
* Up to date knowledge of NRM Rules.
* Understand and articulate the construction process/sequence.
* Understanding of programme critical path activities.
