Position: Multi Skilled Installation Engineer
Salary: £35k-£45k DOE
Location: Company based in Exeter
About My Client: My client provides premium building service solutions to regional food manufacturers and distributors in the Southwest of England. The business also operates a renewable division that provides low-carbon heating and cooling solutions to commercial and domestic customers.
About The Role: My client is seeking a Multi-Skilled Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various installation environments and be comfortable handling project requirements such as air handling, ventilation, plumbing, fabric, steel structures, compressed air, and equipment installations.
The candidate should be a team player who is eager to collaborate to complete projects and achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform installations across various systems including air handling, ventilation, plumbing, fabric, steel structures, compressed air, and equipment.
2. Interpret construction drawings and specifications to plan and execute building activities.
3. Maintain high technical standards and a strong attention to detail.
4. Travel to different sites based in and around Exeter, with occasional overnight stays required.
Requirements:
1. Experience in a multi-skilled installation environment, preferably within food manufacturing.
2. Plumbing and refrigeration experience is advantageous.
3. Mechanically biased with a strong technical understanding and problem-solving mindset.
4. Organised with the ability to handle various project build aspects.
5. Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Good communicator, written and verbal.
8. HNC qualification.
9. IPAF certification.
10. Full UK driving license.
