Primary Role
Your role will be to assist with the delivery of SEO campaigns for our clients in the legal sector. You will be working in a busy Marketing Services team who are currently managing over 70 SEO projects.
You will already have SEO experience, and be looking to further your career in this area. You will report to our Head of SEO and support a team of 5 other SEO experts.
This is a great role for someone looking to specialise in SEO, with excellent progression opportunities for the right person.
Main Responsibilities
The following is a list of the main tasks this job role will handle, but is by no means an exhaustive list and may be varied from time to time:
* Supporting & delivering SEO projects, including (but not limited to):
o Prospect, Technical, UX and Content audits & implementing fixes
o Running benchmark reports and competitor analysis
o Keyword research
o Writing content specifications
o Running monthly crawls & implementing fixes
o Monthly site health checks
o Citation building and fixing using Bright Local
o Google Business Profile development and optimisation
o Planning outreach links
o Link intersects
o Optimising client’s websites (Conscious CMS, WordPress, or other CMS’)
o Maintaining monthly reports using Looker Studio and analysing the data, writing client-facing commentary
* Communicating with other teams, including Account Managers, Client Services and Production to ensure work is properly briefed and progressed.
* Be professionally aware of the latest developments in SEO (including products and algorithm updates), and the latest thinking on best practice.
* Other tasks as they arise.
Required Skills
Applicants must have the following experience:
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in an SEO role
* Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, GBP
* Technical website audits using tools such as Ahrefs and Screaming Frog, or similar tools
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and take ownership of your projects
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Appetite to learn and genuine interest in furthering your career in SEO
* A basic understanding of the legal market, trends and services provided by lawyers/solicitors
* Experience of using products such as Bright Local, Authority Labs, Ahrefs or Looker Studio

Salary & Benefits
* Dependent on experience but expected to be in the range of £23,400 - £28,000 depending on experience

Hours of Work
* Monday to Friday.
* 37.5 hours per week.
* 9.00am to 5.30pm (unless otherwise agreed).
