Role: Director of Client Partnerships
Salary: £85,000 pa
Hours: 37.5 hours Mon-Fri
Location: Hybrid working. Site is Birmingham, 1 day per week onsite
This strategic leadership role will be responsible for driving the commercial growth of the business, while ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of operational services to clients (partners) through innovation and technology.
Responsibilities to include:
Strategic Growth & Development: Lead the development and execution of strategies to drive commercial growth and maximize business opportunities within existing client partnerships. Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand our client base and revenue streams.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient and effective execution of operational processes, ensuring all client services are delivered to the highest standard. Work closely with internal teams to streamline operations and improve service delivery
Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor the operations, partnership management and business development teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance within the teams.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for escalations and strategic discussions. Ensure that client needs are met with exceptional service and solutions that add measurable value.
Technology Integration: Working in collaboration with the Head of IT, lead the integration of new technologies and digital tools to improve client journeys, enhance operational efficiencies, and deliver cost-effective solutions. Ensure that the team is equipped to leverage these technologies in their day-to-day work.
Financial Stewardship: Oversee the development and management of budgets for the client partnership operations, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively. Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet commercial targets.
Market Insights & Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within client partnerships.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of client partnerships, operational efficiency, and business development efforts. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress toward goals
Qualifications/Skills/Experience (Essential or Desirable):
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within client management, partnerships, or business development.
• Strong track record of driving commercial growth and operational efficiency.
• Excellent understanding of client relationship management and the ability to cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving collaborative success.
• Familiarity with the latest technologies and digital tools to enhance client experiences and operational effectiveness.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
