About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dynamic and dedicated supply teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in the Didsbury, Withington, Moss Side, Hulme, Chorlton, and Gorton areas. As a supply teacher, you will be stepping into various classrooms to support schools on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse environments, covering short-term absences or longer-term assignments. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching across various subjects and year groups
Follow lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on track
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Provide constructive feedback to students
Adapt teaching methods to suit the individual needs of students
Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching in secondary schools (preferred but not essential)
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to work independently and flexibly
A passion for teaching and supporting student learning
An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (or willingness to obtain one)
