Adult Support Worker
ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting support workers to join our skilled staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhill area of the city. Esmond Street is currently the only service of its kind in the city, providing a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advanced needs. Please note we currently also have Support Worker positions available at our Balshagray House Service in the Broomhill area of the city. Terms and conditions are the same in both units

Your role will be in supporting individuals with all aspects of everyday life including maintaining health and wellbeing, and assisting individuals with running and maintaining their home. Experience in residential support work is useful but not essential. The successful applicant should also be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 Qualification. Must be available to work on a shift rota basis.
We have various different weekly hours available (full time is 35 hours p/w), and we also have dedicated night shift positions available.
