A fantastic opportunity has emerged for an enthusiastic “housing debt” expert to join our Income Recovery Team.
We are looking for computer literate and numerically proficient individuals, with an advanced ability to use Active H and other office software packages. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the willingness and flexibility to work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will support the maximization of income from rent and other charges across a range of tenures through preventative and pro-active measures; thus, should be an expert in legislation relating to income recovery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing their own patch while supporting Income Management Officers, providing guidance and support on procedural, policy and legal matters and be responsible for supporting the effective supervision of the team including performance management, case audits, and signing off complex legal paperwork, authorizing cases to proceed to court for enforcement action.
You will need to have experience of working in a social housing environment or other relevant setting relating to debt recovery policies.
In this key position as part of the Landlord Operations team, you will support management with all income and sustainment activities, working to ensure that the residents are maximizing their income to maintain their tenancies through holistic support & partnership working.
We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a proven track record of supporting and driving change in partnership with colleagues and other stakeholders.
You will have good problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate colleagues and the wider business towards achieving shared goals.
The intention is for the post holder to work predominantly from home; however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick District as required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate. However, office and hybrid working are also available.
