We have an opportunity for a Senior Building Inspector to manage a varied portfolio of domestic, residential, and commercial projects, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure that any work is carried out complies with the Building Regulations and associated legislation. Your role will include providing a customer-focused building control plan checking and site inspection service, supporting the public protection function of the service, and carrying out enforcement duties and managing dangerous structures work. To be successful, you will need to hold or be on the pathway to Registered Building Inspector status at Class 2 level (Category A-D and above). This includes a professional Building Control Qualification (RICS, CABE or equivalent), Building Control experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong organizational skills, and a focus on service excellence.
