Head of HR (Maternity Cover – Until March 2026)
Are you a strategic HR leader with a passion for driving business growth and fostering a positive company culture? FEC is looking for an experienced Head of HR to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract until March 2026.

In the UK, our workforce of approximately 130 employees operates across London and Manchester, spanning office-based, site, and operational roles. This Manchester-based role is a critical leadership position, shaping and enhancing our people strategies across the UK.
The Role
As Head of HR, you will lead the HR function, ensuring alignment with business objectives while enhancing employee engagement and organisational success. Reporting to senior leadership both in the UK and Hong Kong, you will provide strategic HR guidance and oversee all core HR functions, including:
* Leadership: Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a high-performing and inclusive workplace.
* Stakeholder Management: Advise and collaborate with senior leaders, influencing key HR and organisational decisions.
* Employee Relations: Act as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and transparent workplace.
* Policy Implementation: Develop and implement HR policies to ensure compliance with UK employment law.
* Learning & Development: Oversee training initiatives, equipping managers with strong people leadership skills.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Head of HR, HR Manager, or similar senior HR leadership role.
* Strong stakeholder management experience, ideally within a multinational environment.
* Expert knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business success.
* Strong experience managing employee relations, grievances, and policy development.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
