About the Role:
Specialists in paint finishing solutions, working with well-known clients across various sectors, are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with PLC Software skills to join their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work for a business with over 30 years' experience in the paint industry.

Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and design electrical systems for projects.
* Manage the panel building department, including leading a team of 2-3 people.
* Coordinate delivery timelines and ensure timely completion of projects.
* Oversee budgets and make informed financial decisions.
* Integrate machinery with robot automation solutions.
* Design hardware using Autocad or Eplan.
* Determine equipment specifications.
* Create control panel wiring diagrams.
* Develop cable schedules.
* Organize technical files and establish a standard library of software.
* Develop and monitor Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
* Promote a standard modular approach for hardware and software control philosophy.

About You:
* Hold a HNC/NVQ Level 4 minimum qualification.
* Understand machinery process requirements.
* Familiarise yourself with client processes.
* Basic knowledge of safety controls is essential.
* Knowledge of Siemens PLC Software, particularly S7 TIA, is advantageous.
* Show flexibility, honesty, reliability, and professionalism.
* Proven ability to manage your own work time and workload effectively.
* A stable working background is required.
