Position: KS5 Teacher of Law
Location: Bristol
Contract: Part-Full Time, Permanent

The Role:
We are looking for a Law Teacher with a strong academic background and experience in the Law sector. If you have experience of teaching the social humanities subjects to A level, as well as experience in Law either academically or in practice, please apply. 6th forms and colleges are increasingly providing this subject at further education, to ready give their students a head start in their career in law, and for the various transferrable skills in analysis, attention to detail, logical thinking, research skills and essay writing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Make the subject relatable and engaging, promoting a love for learning law by drawing on your expertise.
* Demonstrate excellent subject and curriculum knowledge.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, taking direction and working as part of a team.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Exercise professional judgment, seek assistance when needed, and reflect on personal teaching practices.
* Implement innovative teaching strategies, including diverse assessment and differentiation methods.
* Communicate complex information clearly and sensitively to a diverse audience, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
* Relevant Teaching Qualification (e.g., PGCE) and current professional registration.
* Experience in teaching, preferably within a Further Education environment.
* Familiarity with BTEC & A Level Curriculums.
* Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and lifelong learning.
* Excellent knowledge of Teacher Standards and innovative teaching practices.
* Proficiency in using IT and e-learning systems.
