Duties Exhaust after treatment system maintenance, Diesel Particulate Filter cleaning. Receiving deliveries, inspecting, testing, placing pars through the service process, retesting, packing preparing for dispatch. Delivering assigned maintenance tasks on time, to the requirements of the planned maintenance system and timeframe to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant service. Varied workshop maintenance duties. Preparing daily job cards. Collecting and delivering parts around customer sites. Delivering work to a high standard of quality Reconditioning, overhauling Exhaust After treatment Systems Use power tools, Drilling, Cutting metal Fabrication Learn to produce sound weld joints and good cosmetic finish Workshop, equipment and facility repair and maintenance Driving company vehicle for collection and delivery Carry out new installations of emission exhaust after treatment systems Provide support and suggestions for continuous improvement Role & Responsibilities Understanding of Health and Safety, Risk and COSHH Ability to work alone or as part of a team Motivated and possess the drive to complete tasks in a timely manner with appropriate attention to detail Requirements Qualifications & Skills. Multi skilled vehicle mechanic / maintenance engineer Skilled mig / tig welder is an advantage Clean driving licence essential, Experience of engineering, preferably gained within an automotive environment, with a good understanding of engine/vehicle Skills in fabrication Mechanical background. Skills and Experience in a similar role.
