Our NSW State Government client is currently seeking multiple Contact Centre Operators for initial 6 month contracts with the possibility of extension in Newcastle. This role will be a fully office working environemnt, working on a -hour per week, 5-hurs per day, rotating roaster Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
6. Provide high quality generalist service as the first point of contact for contact centre customers.
7. Receive inbound calls, obtain necessary information and utilise generalist knowledge to transfer customers to appropriate contact centre specialists in a courteous, accurate and efficient manner.
8. Undertake administrative work as required to support the provision of high quality service delivery.
9. Create a positive relationship in all customer interactions across all interaction channels, maintaining a professionally courteous and friendly manner.
10. Ensure client satisfaction as a priority as assessed and monitored through customer feedback.
About you:
11. Looking for candidates with 2 - 3 years customer service experience (call centre, admin, retail)
12. Need excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Previous gov experience is preferred but not required
14. Looking for candidates who have previously worked in an office environment
15. Intermediate computer skills required – Typing, Using mouse and monitor, Strong email etiquette
16. Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Outlook and Teams
17. Specific software will be taught however contractors need to be technically savvy and have the ability to pick up systems quickly
