About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior AV Technician to join our team and grow your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. You’ll be a vital part of our Service team, gaining hands-on experience delivering system repairs, performing scheduled maintenance, and supporting installation projects both in the office and on-site.
We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, passionate about AV technology, and ready to take the first step in building a fulfilling career with us.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality audio-visual support and maintenance services as part of a collaborative team.
* Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone or remote connections.
* Attend client sites to assist with troubleshooting and repairs, with support from experienced team members.
* Document findings and actions taken in concise engineering reports.
* Learn to use our ticketing system to keep stakeholders updated on service progress.
* Support the team with system installations, from office-based builds to on-site deployments.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to develop their skills in a hands-on role.
Skills and Experience:
* A foundational understanding of IT or AV systems and a strong interest in learning more.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to ask questions.
* Organised and reliable, with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident, customer-friendly manner.
* A willingness to take on varied tasks, travel to client sites, and adapt to changing priorities and environments.
* An interest in gaining technical qualifications or certifications (such as InfoComm AVT, CompTIA A+, or PASMA) to support your career growth.
* Hands-on experience in a technical or customer-facing role is a bonus but not essential.
