Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of equipment and devices, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
1. Diagnose faults in equipment and determine the necessary repairs.
2. Perform repairs on various mechanical and electronic devices, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
3. Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.
4. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
5. Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex issues.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in repair techniques.
7. Ensure the workspace is clean and organised at all times.
Experience
1. Previous experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
2. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
3. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, and troubleshooting methods.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
5. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
6. A relevant technical qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential.
