About the role
We are searching for an exceptional HR Advisor to join our HR academy partnership team. This is a new role which has become available following our decision to fully insource our employee relations services across our schools and central team. You will work closely with the central HR team to support Academy Leaders with all HR-related matters including employee relations casework.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Is CIPD Level 5 qualified or higher, or working toward this qualification
2. Has ER casework experience, ideally from the education sector but experience from other sectors will be considered
3. Can communicate effectively with all levels of staff and can use influencing, persuading and negotiating skills
4. Has experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
5. Has good knowledge of Employment Law and HR practice
6. A problem-solving attitude and sound decision-making skills
7. Has a full, clean driving licence and access to own transport as travel to our academies is essential
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.

The central HR team is based in Coventry and is responsible for providing outstanding HR services to the schools and central team of Inspire Education Trust for a workforce of 700+ staff. The HR Advisor will report to the Director of People & Culture and will undertake a key role in the delivery and development of our HR Advisory services.
