As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day operations, driving the development of the nursery, team, curriculum, and business. As an essential part of the team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of every child. You’ll lead a committed team, help deliver exceptional care, and play a key role in the growth of the next generation. This hands-on role covers everything from safeguarding and supporting child development to handling administrative duties like registration, invoicing, and Early Years Funding claims. You’ll also help train new team members and maintain the nursery’s high standards of safety and cleanliness. What we're looking for:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience of working with children in a supervisory role.
* Excellent working knowledge of EYFS and current Ofsted statutory Guidance.
* Proven experience of managing a team including organisation of staff rotas and holidays.
* Childcare qualification at Level 3 or above.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
* The ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Able to work weekday shifts within between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
