Position: Experienced Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Start: ASAP
Hours: 20 Hours per week, 10 am to 2 pm each day, Term Time only
Contract: Fixed Term Contract to 18th July 2025
Salary: NJC Band 6 points 6-7 (£13.05 - £13.26 per hour)
This is a grant funded post to support Early Language Development within our Early Years Team.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants should possess relevant minimum Level 3 teaching assistant qualifications and be able to work as part of a team. They should also be prepared to support children within the classroom and work with groups or individual children with additional needs, as required.
Applicants should be:
1. Highly motivated, forward thinking and committed to high quality curriculum provision in a caring Christian ethos.
2. Have a high standard of spoken and written English.
3. Demonstrate sensitivity whilst working with others and have good interpersonal skills.
4. Willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom.
5. Experienced in supporting with Speech and language programmes.
We require a Teaching Assistant who:
1. Is an experienced, outstanding classroom practitioner.
2. Has an excellent knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
3. Has an excellent understanding of language development and early talk.
4. Has an excellent understanding of Early Years.
5. Works effectively as part of a class, key stage and whole school team.
6. Can contribute to the wider school community.
