Assembly Operatives Required Aylesbury - Start ASAP
Candidates will ideally have electro mech experience and need their own transport or live in or the surrounding area due to limited public transport links.
Shifts Available:
1. Early shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00am to 11:00am on Fridays. Salary: £23,180.
2. Late shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday to Thursday and 11:00am to 4:00pm on Fridays. Salary: £26,319.
Job Spec:
Proactive are currently recruiting for a number of Assembly Operatives to work in Thame. You will be required to provide a highly flexible response to variations in demand with minimum supervision, carrying out production activities relating to the manufacture of components and assembly of products. All successful candidates will be required to use hand tools, follow written instructions, and stand at a workbench throughout the day.
Duties will include:
1. Working with minimum supervision, work in any area of component manufacturing, product assembly, wiring, and testing as required to meet delivery requirements.
2. Carry out component manufacturing and product assembly to meet requirements documented in build instructions, drawings, BOMs, or other related documents.
3. Ensure that all components and products are stored tidily and correctly identified.
4. Accurately maintain production records, product records, and other records.
5. Liaise with Team Leaders and ensure stock levels are kept up to date.
6. Alert the Production Manager or other appropriate staff of any plant or equipment maintenance issues.
7. Offer suggestions to the Team Leader/Line Manager that will improve the efficiency and safety of production areas and equipment.
8. Raise awareness of manufacturing problems with the Production Manager and work with others to find and effectively implement solutions.
Experience / Skills Required:
1. Good IT skills.
2. Good manual dexterity.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Previous experience assembling products.
5. Able to multi-task successfully.
