The Role:
In the Quality Inspector role you’ll report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
This role is suitable for someone with Quality Inspector experience or someone from a machining background that would like a change into quality inspection.
The standard working hours for this job are 38 hours a week (Monday – Thursday).
Working hours are flexible between operational hours of 6am – 6pm.
The Candidate:
To be the right person for the Quality Inspector role you will need direct experience of working within a manufacturing machine shop environment.
If you are coming from an inspector background you also need to have prior experience of:
1. Quality Control techniques
2. Recording quality results
3. Raising dispatch documents such as certificates of conformance, PPAPs, or ISIRs
It’s important that you also have the following:
1. Practical engineering experience
2. Understanding of milling/turning machines
3. Good communication skills on the shop floor
4. Attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
5. CMM experience (preferred but not necessary)

The Package:
The basic salary for the Quality Inspector role is between £32,000 – £38,000 per annum (negotiable for the right experience).
