We have a exciting opportunity for an experienced payroller to join our in house payroll team. This role will assist in the processing of our monthly payroll for approximately 8000 colleagues. This is a full time working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £26,000.
Responsibility and Duties
Payroll Processing
Accurate processing of a end to end monthly payroll of circa 1,200 colleagues
Review, manage and resolve payroll queries including the calculation and raising of manual payments where required and ensuring they are all accurately recorded
Good understanding of statutory payments including Maternity, Paternity & Shared Parental leave
Experience of full end to end payroll preferred
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working as part of a payroll team is essential
Must have exceptional communication skills
Must be competent in performing manual payroll calculations
Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining composure
Experience of operating a modern payroll software package such as PeopleXD (Access), Success Factors (SAP), Oracle, Dayforce (Ceridian) or Workday
Candidate must be experienced in Excel, knowledge of VLOOKUP's is also required
CIPP qualified is desirable but not essential
