An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Health and Safety Advisor working 22.2 hours per week to join the council with responsibility for ensuring compliance with legislation and adherence to the council’s health and safety policies across the organisation.
In addition, you’ll drive our plans for staff wellbeing, working with colleagues across the council to deliver initiatives that champion wellbeing through the workplace.

What you’ll be doing:
* Developing and implementing corporate arrangements for health and safety policies and procedures.
* Providing advice on the implementation and operational management of health and safety management systems.
* Developing and delivering a wellbeing programme for staff.
What you’ll need:
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation.
* Excellent communication skills.
