Job summary We are remodelling our management structure and are splitting the current Practice Business Manager role into Practice Manager and Finance Manager. This is to develop our work supporting patients and our team. The current manager, who has been in the role for 18 years, will take on the role of FM and we are looking for a new Practice Manager to join us as soon as possible. We have 12,000 patients, based in modern, purpose-built premises and a skilled, friendly and truly supportive team. Our wish is to find someone who will enjoy getting involved in all aspects of our work, is pro-active, flexible and is looking for a varied role. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience of working in primary care and this could be the ideal next step for someone who has the skills in the areas required. Ideally, we are looking for full-time hours but will consider part-time for a minimum of 30 hours over 4 or 5 days. Main duties of the job Working closely with the GP Partners and Finance Manager, the successful candidate will provide leadership to the team, ensure that the practice continues to give good patient care, achieves and maintains its targets, adheres to processes, CQC compliance and complies with NHS regulations. They will also ensure that systems are in place to carry out services safely and efficiently as a business, as well as a practice.
