Job Title: Software Support Specialist
Location: Clacton-On-Sea
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
Cooper Lomaz are delighted to be working with a business based in Clacton-On-Sea to source a Software Support Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will join an expanding business, playing an essential role in supporting customers with the implementation and maintenance of their products.
Role Overview:
As a Software Support Specialist, you will be customer-facing, so outstanding customer service skills are essential. You will support customers remotely, identifying root causes of technical problems and collaborating with internal teams to reduce future support.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Be the first point of support for customers.
2. Provide remote support, communicating effectively to troubleshoot and resolve issues, or escalate to the relevant team member.
3. Collaborate with in-house teams such as Product Owners and engineering to ensure effective resolution.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer base.
5. Document inbound tickets and create knowledge-based troubleshooting guides.
Skills:
1. Experience working in an IT technical role.
2. Experience troubleshooting software applications.
3. Experience with CRM or ERP systems like Salesforce.
4. Strong and effective customer service and communication skills.
5. Development skills in PHP, C#, HTML, or .NET are desirable.
Salary & Location:
1. This role is office-based and requires you to be onsite full-time.
2. This position is available on a full-time permanent basis.
