Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead design and assessment projects, ensuring high technical standards and contributing to the growth and development of junior team members. Working alongside environmental managers, ecologists, and planners, you will engage in projects across diverse sectors for both public and private clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Take charge of landscape projects from concept through to completion, with a focus on delivering high-quality design and assessment work.
2. Apply strong design, assessment, and report-writing skills to ensure thorough project outcomes.
3. Handle project schedules, budgets, and client relations, collaborating closely with a cross-functional team.
4. Guide and support junior staff through mentoring, training, and project-based learning.
Requirements
1. A degree in landscape architecture.
2. Excellent understanding of landscape-related policies and regulations.
3. Background in conducting landscape assessments, environmental assessments, and planning documentation.
4. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of graphic design or GIS tools is an advantage.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
6. A full UK driving licence.
