About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our high-profile Corporate Development team!
As a Corporate Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and performing critical initiatives that drive growth, improve profitability, and enhance shareholder value. This role requires outstanding analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to navigate complex business environments.
You will be responsible for
* Identify and assess potential growth and investment opportunities, evaluating their financial performance, integration potential (including synergies) and strategic viability to help proactively build and maintain the pipeline.
* Conduct detailed market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify key trends and opportunities.
* Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's industry, competitors, and market dynamics.
* Lead and support end-to-end M&A activities, including target identification, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and negotiation (price and SPA elements).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure successful deal execution and integration.
* Develop comprehensive financial models and perform financial analysis to support investment decisions.
* Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives and external advisors.
* Prepare concise analysis and messaging for C-suite executives.
You will need
* ACA/CA/CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
* Experience in corporate development, strategy, investment banking and/or M&A Advisory.
* Strong project management and multi-tasking ability.
* Strong understanding of a deal timeline and deal mechanics.
* Great interpersonal skills.
* Excellent analytical skills (numeric, financial, strategic, etc).
