RF Test Automation and Software Development Intern
This team of world-class engineers designs and produces precision RF Test Equipment for use in calibrating and testing the Radios in millions of iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Watches. All members of the team bring their own unique expertise to collectively take internal Apple products from concept to mass production. Each internal product is designed to Apple's exacting standards resulting in breathtaking test equipment that maintains the quality, accuracy, and function of commercially available offerings. We are a diverse Apple team based in London, working closely with other teams across various locations to design and develop cutting-edge hardware and software products for wireless technologies. We are seeking highly motivated engineering students or those in related fields with a strong background in software development. In this role, you will collaborate with our experts to create a tool that interacts with our devices to perform RF measurements, contributing to an outstanding user experience with our products.
Description
Develop an application/tool to automate RF system tests using industry-standard equipment and network emulators for 5G NR and LTE wireless device testing. Collaborate with a diverse team including RF software, hardware, systems, and characterization experts. Analyze and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing and application development, coordinating solutions with the appropriate team members. Expand your knowledge of RF Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and 3GPP specification requirements and procedures.
