An Inverness based construction group require an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This organisation boasts a significant portfolio of successfully delivered high-value projects across the North of Scotland, within a variety of sectors such as education, healthcare, and commercial. Due to recent contract wins, there is a need to grow the team, resulting in a new Assistant QS vacancy.
Key responsibilities include:
* Utilise the most recent Oracle software tools to deliver precise cost and value reports
* Analyse and evaluate expenditure reports generated by internal cost systems
* Participate in the procurement process for Subcontract partners
* Oversee subcontract work packages, including interim assessments of due amounts and change management
* Support the creation and issuance of commercial notices to both Clients and Subcontractors
* Assistance in managing changes as per the contract, including preparing and submitting Compensation Event Quotations and maintaining detailed value schedules.
* Provide the Commercial team with necessary information for producing monthly payment applications to the Client.
* Gather and calculate data to support the Commercial team in creating and maintaining a detailed 'cost to complete' report

* Construction related qualification ideally BSc Quantity Surveying
* Graduates or Assistant level Quantity Surveyors will be considered
