Role Overview:
Leading the online staff and volunteer team in selecting the most profitable stock, photographing stock and drafting accurate descriptions to appeal to potential customers. Maintaining high standards of presentation, merchandising, stock control, customer communication and timely dispatch of items to ensure the highest levels of feedback on selling platforms is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for generating income to achieve or exceed the forecasted budget.
* Develop systems & procedures for efficient and profitable operation of online sales, primarily on eBay and other online platforms.
* To lead & manage our online trading presence via our social media platforms and in collaboration with other retail and fundraising activities to engage customers and donors.
* Be a ‘Customer Champion’ creating the best possible online customer service and retail experience.
* Always be a St. Vincent’s Hospice Ambassador creating the best brand experience at point-of-sale.
Desirable Knowledge:
* Previous experience of Charity Shop retail work.
* Awareness & understanding of the Voluntary Sector.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position. 20 hours per week on a rotational basis Monday-Friday. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum, pro rata.
