Role: Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer Location: The Christie Private Hospital Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience (with excellent benefits) We’re looking for a Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at HCA UK at The Christie Hospital currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. As a key member of the pharmacy team you will work under the guidance of Senior colleagues to provide efficient, patient focused, operational pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users. As a Pharmacy Assistant you will assist with the core pharmacy operations, which may include dispensary, procurement, stock control and management, medicines distribution and ward top-up services. You will play a role in delivering the department Key Performance Indicators and contribute to the continuous development of the pharmacy service The Christie Private Care provides advanced cancer care and houses the world's largest early clinical trials unit. Maths and English or equivalent Excellent interpersonal skills NVQ Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Service Skills/ or equivalent (Desirable) Demonstrate experience of working in a pharmacy setting, including dispensing, labelling, stock control (Desirable) Why HCA UK?
