PEP (Personal Educational Plans) Co-ordinator
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable PEP Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team, committed to supporting students on their educational journey and ensuring they achieve success. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of robust strategies that empower learners and help them overcome barriers to progress. This is a fixed term time only position on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be adaptable and willing to undertake a variety of duties, including liaising with local authorities and schools to ensure smooth transitions for students, coordinating Personal Educational Plans (PEPs) with timely responses, and working collaboratively with student support services and external agencies. The role also involves maintaining strong partnerships with the Virtual Schools network and other stakeholders, keeping accurate records, and supporting learners with essential paperwork related to housing, benefits, and bursaries.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in education or student support, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and other professionals. A robust understanding of safeguarding and prevent strategies is essential.
