Job Description Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Program Manager to join our team. This is a strategic role in relation to the Gas Power GenAI Vision and strategy and will be critical to lead the strategy and implementation of key GenAI initiatives/programs across multiple business functions and value-streams. The role will leverage a blend of deep technology acumen in GenAI and deep business process acumen/expertise and strategic thought leadership skills to lead and manage the conceptualization, validation, & prioritization of multi-generational AI program roadmap for strategic GenAI programs aligned to key business function priorities & valuestreams, lead the implementation (planning, and execution following SAFE Agile principles) of the roadmap in a way to FastTrack business value realization, and leading customer success for the implemented programs to progressively drive continuous improvement of AI and maximize business value realized. This role is expected to work closely with senior leadership stakeholders within business functions and IT, as well as functional Subject matter experts, data scientists, Agile AI POD teams etc., to foster and drive close collaboration, innovation and efficiencies in delivering business outcomes using AI technology. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Execution: - Collaborate with business functional Subject matter experts and senior leaders within Gas Power functions to build the strategic vision, objectives and multi-generational program roadmap for AI initiatives aligned with organizational strategic goals and Hoshin. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI integration and innovation. Lead the discovery and qualification of AI use-case ideas and unifying connected ideas within a value-stream as part of building the AI roadmap for a value stream. - Lead the planning, prioritization, execution, and delivery of AI projects, within a roadmap aligned with SAFE Agile principles, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes. - Lead Customer Success for ensuring successful business activation, value realization and continuous improvement of AI capabilities. Team Leadership, Collaboration & Managing Stakeholder Expectations: - Oversee execution across cross-functional agile teams comprising data scientists, software engineers, architects, Responsible AI analysts and Quality assurance. - Drive strong collaboration with business functional stakeholders and managing expectations. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth. - Act as a liaison between technical teams and business function stakeholders, translating complex concepts/features into actionable user stories/specifications. Program Management: - Implement best practices in program management, including resource allocation, risk management, scope changes, say-do-ratio & quality management. - Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or deviations proactively; Coordinate execution across multiple projects and drive shared approach and outcomes tracking. Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and responsible AI standards in AI development and deployment. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies. - Drive the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of AI programs. - Evaluate and refine processes to optimize project outcomes and organizational value. Education Qualification Bachelor's Degree in with significant experience. Desired Characteristics: - Proven experience in AI program management, with a track record of successful project delivery; Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization. - Strong understanding of AI, Machiner learning and data science with specialized focus on Generative AI - Solid domain understanding of the Gas Power business, processes and functions. - Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations - Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies (preferable SAFE Agile Certified) - Experience managing budgets including budget and spend - Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding diverse teams. Strong influencing skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strategic thinker with the ability to align AI initiatives with broader business objectives. - Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong problem-solving skills. - Passion for innovation and continuous learning in the field of artificial intelligence.
