Job description
We are looking for a Data Analyst to work with our clients' refuse and recycling services. The successful applicant will use data including missed bin reports, fleet reports, and telematics to identify trends to improve the efficiency of our collection crews and improve the quality of information provided to customers and residents.
Key tasks:
1. Data Collection and Management:
o Collect data from various sources, including databases, telematics, councillor enquiries, and other data collection tools.
2. Clean and Organise Data:
o Ensure the data is accurate, consistent, and in a usable format by cleaning it and removing errors or inconsistencies.
3. Design and Maintain Data Systems:
o Contribute to the design and maintenance of databases and data collection systems.
4. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
o Use statistical tools and techniques to analyse data and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
o Be an experienced Data and Performance Analyst with 2+ years of experience in the relevant field.
o Possess strong IT and Microsoft skills.
o Work with other teams, such as engineers and programmers, to identify opportunities for process improvements and data governance.
