The Role You will play a key role in supporting HR operations across The Leaf Trust, ensuring compliance with policies, employment law, and best practice. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: Recruitment Leadership – Lead on recruitment across the Trust, ensuring compliance with safer recruitment standards. Prepare and advertise roles, create engaging recruitment packs, and guide schools on best practice hiring processes. Proactively build the Trust’s talent pool by networking with local universities, organising and attending career fairs, and developing partnerships to raise the Trust’s profile and attract high-quality candidates.HR Advice & Support –Provide guidance to Headteachers, School Business Partners, and members of the central team, coaching them to use HR policies effectively so they can provide advice to staff.HR Administration – Issue contracts and offer letters, update HR systems and maintain records.Policy & Compliance – Conduct Single Central Record checks, support audits, and contribute to policy development.HR Projects & Systems – Support the implementation of a new HRIS, TUPE processes for new schools, and system improvements.Training & Communication – Deliver HR training, contribute to Heads' and staff newsletters, and manage HR content on SharePoint.Formal Meeting Support – Provide administrative support and take minutes at formal HR meetings.Please refer to the candidate information pack for more information about this role.
