The HR Business Partnering team consists of highly skilled HR practitioners who support an overall workforce of 3,700 FTE. About the opportunity As a senior member of the HRBP team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of approximately 850 FTE, providing expert human resource advice to leaders and staff on human resource matters and support the HR Business Partner with the implementation of people and culture strategic initiatives. You will work closely with senior leaders to provide key operational and strategic human resources support. This will involve developing and implementing people strategies that are creative and meet the needs of the University and drives business performance. In addition, you will work collaboratively with your HR colleagues in Centres of Excellence including Talent, Organisational Development, Employee Relations, and Health & Wellbeing to share knowledge of best practice and influence the design and delivery of specialist advisory services. About you You will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and substantive senior HR experience working at senior levels of large, complex - matrix organisations. This will be underpinned with proven HR generalist knowledge and experience across leadership development, people capability and succession planning, performance improvement and management, talent resourcing and workforce planning, employee relations, and culture and engagement. You will also have highly developed organisational design and change management skills gained from significant experience managing complex transformational changes within large matrix organisations. In addition, you will have the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organisation, with excellent influencing, relationship building, coaching and communication skills.
