Human Resources Generalist About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions, including policy development, compliance, employee relations, team event planning, recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding as well as career planning. This is an in office role at our corporate office Chesterfield, MO. Requirements Key Responsibilities Policy Development and Compliance Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Communicate policies effectively to employees and provide training or clarification when needed. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership regarding HR-related risks and compliance issues. Payroll Management Oversee and manage payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timely payments. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws. Collaborate with finance to handle payroll audits and reporting. Employee Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a culture of openness and trust. Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. Implement and maintain programs that promote employee engagement and satisfaction. Team Event Planning Plan and execute team-building activities, company-wide events, and celebrations. Manage event budgets and coordinate with vendors to ensure successful execution. Gather feedback post-events to continuously improve future initiatives. Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Build and maintain relationships with external recruiters, job boards, and educational institutions. Onboarding and Offboarding Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and integration into the company culture. Manage the offboarding process, conducting exit interviews and ensuring proper documentation and knowledge transfer. Identify trends and areas of improvement based on employee feedback. Benefit Management Manage benefit negotiations annually to ensure benefit packages are competitive and meets market trends and align with business goals. Responsible for annual enrollment communications and enrollment efficiency for all employees. Ensure COBRA and other laws related to benefit processing are handled in a timely and compliant manner. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR management role. Skills and Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels. High degree of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
