Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a leading engineering supplier based in Northamptonshire.
The role will work remotely covering Northants and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include developing existing key accounts and generating new business opportunities, selling compressed air products and solutions such as compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration, and other associated compressed air equipment into various industries via OEM customers and end users.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts for technical engineering products and solutions such as compressed air, pumps, valves, plant equipment, pneumatics, medical gas, hydrogen, hydraulics, rotating equipment, MRO, machinery, power tools, industrial systems, or similar. Full product training will be provided.

Role Responsibilities
1. Responsible for developing existing key accounts as well as generating new business opportunities, selling compressed air products and solutions.
2. Selling technical compressed air solutions and products into various industries via OEM customers and end users.
3. Maintaining new compressor sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
4. Working closely with the compressed air Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
6. Fully remote covering Northamptonshire, with office-based work near Corby when not travelling.
Requirements
1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Representative, or similar within engineering.
2. Compressor Service Engineers looking to transition into sales roles are encouraged to apply.
3. A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, BCAS DIPCAM, or Degree would be advantageous.
4. Experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts in engineering, ideally compressed air, pumps, valves, plant equipment, pneumatics, medical gas, hydrogen, hydraulics, rotating equipment, MRO, machinery, power tools, industrial systems, or similar.
5. A technical knowledge of engineering products or services is essential. Full product training will be provided.
6. Office-based work near Corby daily when not travelling and for the initial training period.
7. Full clean driving license.
