Job Description
Fairmont St Andrews is seeking a dynamic Beverage Operations Manager whose demonstrated leadership skills will enhance the reputation, quality and performance of Kittocks Den and Zephyr Sports Bar.
Reporting to the Director of F&B, this position will be responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the two Outlets.
A little more about what you will be doing:
* You will be responsible for hiring, scheduling and monitoring Bartenders and F&B Servers
* To develop and enhance Fairmont service standards through disciplined administration of departmental Standard Operating Procedures and excellent attention to detail.
* To enhance the leadership skills of the additional leaders in Kittocks Den and Zephyr Sports Bar
* To ensure effective working relationships and clear communications are maintained with all colleagues and leaders in the outlet and other departments.
* To attend to all guest requests, being constantly aware of anticipating guests needs and to remain in the bar at all times during service.
* Help to ensure the smooth running of all guests requirements and needs on each table.
* To prepare staff rotas in accordance to budget guidelines of wage cost and productivity.
* Adhere to liquor laws and regulations.
* This position will require a ‘hands on’ approach providing coaching and guidance to all colleagues within your department.
Qualifications
* Excellent knowledge of food and beverage products, marketplace trends and service standards essential.
* Minimum 2 years as a F&B Head of Department
* Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
