Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accounts Manager to join our team in a client-facing capacity. This role focuses on delivering high-quality accounting and business management services to a prestigious portfolio of clients, including athletes, entertainers, production companies, and media professionals. Reporting to the Directors and Managing Director, you will act as a trusted advisor, managing your clients’ financial affairs with discretion, accuracy, and strategic insight.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide end-to-end business management services to clients, including bookkeeping, cash flow management, payment processing, and financial oversight
* Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant reporting and disclosure requirements
* Coordinate tax filings and maintain regulatory compliance for client entities
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day financial operations and delivering tailored advice
* Oversee and execute banking transactions and client payment schedules in a secure and timely manner
* Liaise with external professionals including lawyers, tax advisors, auditors, and banks on behalf of clients
* Deliver regular financial reporting and strategic insight to support clients’ business and personal financial goals
* Report on client matters regularly to the Finance Director and Managing Director, providing updates, insights, and recommendations
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards in all interactions
Requirements
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
* Proven experience in a client-facing accounting or business management role
* Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounting and reporting requirements
* Background in sports, media, or entertainment sectors is strongly preferred
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build long-term client trust
