About Our Client This client are a well known social housing contractor who cover the whole of the UK on a wide range of repairs and maintenance contracts - including voids and planned maintenance projects. They work alongside local authorities, councils and housing associations to deliver high quality customer service and work. Job Description This role is to include: Ensuring all value is captured, inclusive of measuring and valuing all works using the agreed schedule of rates. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date commercial records. Sub-contract procurement, payments and commercial management Preparation of documentation and the like for valuation, procurement or commercial administration. Assisting and liaising with the buyers on materials procurement and buying opportunities. Develop an understanding of the designated contract, specification and pricing ensuring compliance with conditions throughout The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate for this role will already have experience working in a similar role, if this is working within the social housing/housing sector this would be a huge advantage. This might also suit someone in a trainee level role looking for a more commercial focus within a commercial team. You will be a self starter and professional as well as having high attention to detail.
