The Role
As the National Account Manager - Grocery, you’ll manage relationships with top UK grocery retailers, driving sales and ensuring the continued success of this dynamic brand. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll be responsible for managing either the ambient or chilled product portfolio, depending on your experience.
What skills do you need to have to be considered?
2-3 years of FMCG sales experience, ideally in the grocery channel.
Proven success managing P&L and building strong buyer relationships.
Skilled in using market data (e.g., NIQ, Circana) to inform strategies and drive results.
A self-motivated, tenacious problem-solver with a passion for hitting targets.
Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
Flexibility to travel within the UK and a full UK driving license.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and execute strategic plans for grocery accounts, managing P&L, JBP, and promotional strategies.
Lead buyer meetings, using data insights to secure new listings and drive growth.
Oversee day-to-day account management, including new line forms, promotions, and instore activations.
Build lasting, collaborative relationships with key customers.
Work closely with internal teams to deliver successful NPD launches and innovative marketing campaigns.
