SUMMARY
This role is responsible for coordinating the onsite Technical Services workshop activities for service and maintenance of products.
Key Accountabilities
* Manage the workshop team (workshop engineers plus functional support colleagues) to drive operational performance, management of KPIs, daily task assignments and compliance with operational/EHS/quality standards.
* Implement, monitor and review country-assigned Service Level Agreements for workshop activities.
* Collaborate with the Senior Manager to manage costs & expenses in compliance with budget & forecast, ensuring appropriate justification for any variation.
* Conduct people management activities (e.g. disciplinaries, monthly ACE check in’s, Talent Management, employee engagement) for all workshop colleagues.
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, Cluster Heads) to drive improvements in internal customer satisfaction indicators.
* Manage operational reporting for service activity, ensure accuracy of service data in the system and drive remedial action with internal stakeholders to address under performance.
* Ensure execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all workshop workstreams and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to drive process improvements.
* Responsible for managing and leading key operational projects within the workshop, as well as collaborating with other Workshop Leads on EMEA-wide projects/workstreams.
* Drive continuous improvement activity and standardization across all tasks and workstreams within the workstream, as well as embedding a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications
* Qualification in Continuous Improvement Methodology (e.g. LEAN, Six Sigma) would be advantageous.
Experience
* Successful and well-established experience in managing large operational teams (managing technical/engineering team would be advantageous).
* Proven experience in delivering strong KPI results and meeting SLAs consistently in an operational environment.
* Proven experience in cost management of an operation.
* Successful experience in managing employee relations cases (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, absence management).
* Established track record of developing people and driving team engagement.
* Proven experience in managing operational projects.

* Good working knowledge of applying EHS in an operational/technical environment.
