Finance and Administration Officer 3 days per week (0.6 FTE)

English Speaking Board (International) Ltd. (ESB International) is seeking an enthusiastic Finance and Administration Officer to be based at its Ormskirk Office with some agile working from home. The successful candidate will work on all aspects of sales and purchase ledger, as well as supporting the Finance and Premises Manager. The department is also responsible for ESB's Premises and Health and Safety.
Our business is an awarding body; creating, assessing, administering and certificating assessments to 30,000 learners annually. With 13 Head Office colleagues, 60 assessors out in the field and over 250 centres in the UK and internationally - we are a busy and constantly evolving workplace.
We are seeking a 'can do' person for this permanent post working in our friendly head office based in Ormskirk. They must enjoy digital working, using financial and business systems and have high levels of excel skills as we are largely managing our finances with minimal paper. Most importantly, we are looking for an individual who will care as much about our learners achieving their potential, as we do.
To support our hybrid working model, this role will be office based Mondays and Thursdays with the capacity for agile working for their third day of each week. However, we are willing to consider other patterns. Depending on experience, the job offers an attractive salary of £22,000-27,000 FTE per annum. We would anticipate you have at a minimum Level 3 AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification or Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
