Job Description
1. Oversee and manage the overall financial operations of the manufacturing unit.
2. Provide financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the unit.
3. Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
4. Partner with management in the decision-making process by providing financial insights and analysis.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Lead cost reduction initiatives within the manufacturing unit.
7. Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
8. Work with the team to develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Unit Controller should have:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
2. Experience in a similar role within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. The ability to work well within a team and lead effectively.
