Support ICT in the procurement, installation and testing of new hardware ensuring the needs of the department are met. Database Architecture - Lead on the design of the Business Intelligence Systems architecture, setting standards for data flow processes and identifying technical solutions to meet BI Developer requirements. Software - Investigate new technologies and assess their suitability for adoption within the department. Application Development - Put in place any data collections that might be required outside of existing systems, e.g. HTML forms or new 3rd party data collection applications. Change Control - Develop a robust change control process to ensure that changes to the database architecture or the source systems do not adversely impact the accuracy of Business Intelligence outputs.
