Their offices are located near Thame, Princes Risborough and this is an office-based role.
Job Description
This position is part-time, 2 days per week. The working days will be in the office.
This position starts in October. As an experienced modeller, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing the current cost calculator used for managed services and reviewing the departmental methods that are used to assess business costs.
Investigation, analysis, and development of the following:
* Cost models for individual services
* Service Level Management
* Power consumption / utilisation
* Staff / people costs to run and maintain the services
* Hosting platform consumption and analytics
* Internal consumption of resources and components across the business
* Cost model templates that can be used by the business for repeatable services
* Analyse and further develop Bill of Materials that outputs from the cost model into procurement including:
* Upfront purchases required
* Monthly rentals
* Contributions to current and future purchases
* Consumption of resources (people and equipment)
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial modeller should have:
* An academic background in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
* Qualified Accountant or Qualified By Experience
* Your CV must show demonstrable experience of building cost models for an IT Managed Services Provider
* Strong financial modelling skills specifically around developing costing models
* Experience in a similar role in the Technology Industry sector.
* Available immediately (max 1 week's notice) and able to commute to Thame on a hybrid basis.
