They are looking for underwriters to join a growing team of 7 so far. They need experienced Buy to Let Underwriters, but this could just be part of your skill set as there is a definite opportunity to expand into other areas in the future.
The primary function of this role is to assess and underwrite mortgage applications to ensure all lending complies with the company’s credit risk policy. Additionally, work with the processing team to assist in the preparation of case files as well as assisting our intermediary partners by discussing potential new applications.
If you want to join this exciting company, you will have:
1. A current or recent Underwriting Mandate
2. Good knowledge of Buy to Let lending (to include Limited Company, HMO and Multi lets)
3. A good understanding of the mortgage process
4. Knowledge of working under pressure to tight deadlines - a 'can do ‘attitude
5. Record/file management experience
6. Experience of working in a team
7. Ability to prioritise tasks
8. Excellent communication skills
