Role Overview
The Business Analyst will extract, analyse, and present data from our IFS ERP system, building clear, easy-to-understand dashboards and reports for all levels of the organisation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, they will lead process improvement initiatives, automate manual workflows, and help implement data-driven strategies that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and interpret data from IFS ERP, creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
* Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend data-driven solutions.
* Automation & Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives to automate manual tasks and improve system workflows.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with teams across finance, supply chain, operations, and engineering to support data-driven decision-making.
* Business Strategy Support: Provide insights that contribute to cost analysis, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
* Performance Tracking: Develop KPIs and reporting structures to measure success across different business functions.
* Training & Support: Educate teams on how to interpret and utilise data effectively in their decision-making processes.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Experience
* 3-5 years in a Business Analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Skills
* Proficiency in ERP systems (IFS preferred, but not essential).
* Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
* Experience with process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
* Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Communication & Collaboration: Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, explaining data insights in a clear and compelling way.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
