As our Lead Compliance Officer, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimising planned, reactive, and remedial maintenance compliance across the business. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring we deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards for our clients and engineers. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Management: Develop and execute a planned preventive maintenance regime, including associated remedial works, ensuring full compliance with contract requirements. Performance Oversight: Manage and report on PPM, reactive, and remedial works, adhering to contract specifications and KPIs. Team Leadership: Oversee multi-discipline facilities management work schemes, holding regular performance reviews with both in-house (franchise) teams. Asset Management: Monitor asset performance and condition ratings, updating asset information to meet both contract and our company standards. Lifecycle Planning: Support the creation of lifecycle programmes to enhance asset longevity and performance. Client Relations: Represent the business professionally, liaising with client management and site representatives, and managing client-focused activities. Reporting & Compliance: Prepare KPI and operational reports for internal, supply chain, and client meetings, and ensure adherence to QA procedures and our Health and Safety policy. Auditing: Conduct desktops audits for planned and reactive maintenance and hold regular review meetings with clients regarding contract performance. What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Compliance Officer with a technical background and a passion for excellence. You will oversee and manage the pre-planned maintenance (PPM) activities for a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-profile companies in collaboration with our expanding franchise network. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all maintenance operations, in relation to Drainage, Plumbing, Pump and Gas required are performed in compliance with UK regulations and industry standards. If you have a proven track record in facilities management and a drive to succeed, we want to hear from you Key responsibilities: Compliance monitoring Desktop Auditing and inspections Support Centre & Franchisee Management Reporting and documentation Risk Management Continuous improvement Essential Criteria: Knowledge of UK maintenance and safety regulations, particularly in relation to gas safety (Gas Safe), drainage maintenance, and plumbing inspections. Previous experience in a compliance or facilities management role within facilities management, engineering, or similar sectors. Strong understanding of the regulatory frameworks for gas, drainage, plumbing, and related maintenance activities. Proven success in a similar facilities management role with at least three years of experience. Experience using CRM’s. Proven experience managing internal and external Stakeholder relationships (in particular understanding varying and specific requirements different Stakeholders have). Technical expertise in a wide range of building services and M&E disciplines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail. Clean driving license. Desirable Criteria: 3rd level qualification within the building environment. Associate membership of a professional body. Experience with bespoke CAFM or business management software.
